  • The integral steps to getting your new roof
  • What you can expect while the roofers are on site
  • Quality assurance procedures that give you peace of mind

Brief Summary

Firstly, the most important thing you need to know about the roof replacement procedure is that as long as the roofing company you have contracted knows what they are doing – it’s not rocket science!

It might seem like a huge undertaking at first, but once you have gained an understanding of what will be happening to your house and when, you can rest assured that your money is being spent well and the job is being done right!

For a typical sized house with good access, the average roof replacement time is as little as three days. The below diagram outlines the basic steps of a typical metal roof replacement:

Behind the scenes

It’s important to keep in mind that although a roof replacement can be a breeze, it’s often because of all the action behind the scenes that a job runs smoothly and efficiently. In Episode 1 of Series 2 we discussed how long roof replacements take, and mentioned that there are in fact 150-200 touch points throughout a project that contribute to its success.

At VPR we do our best to make the process as hassle free as possible for you and your family by keeping our time on your roof at a minimum. We have implemented a tried, tested and ever-improving system to ensure that most of the work is done behind the scenes, so that your roof replacement experience is great one!
